Did you know that Rehab Jigsaw Ltd provide occupational therapy services to local authorities and also to providers contracted to manage Supported Independent Living Schemes to assess for, and help deliver Disabled Facilities Grants? We don’t bang our drum often enough but we have successfully provided such services to a local council in the Midlands and to a contracted provider for several years. In the latter end of last year, we successfully secured a contract (after providing more ad-hoc work to them since 2019) with a provider to deliver all of their occupational therapy services – since October 2021 to date, we have received 237 referrals from just one customer!
We have a team of clinically experienced Occupational Therapists working with us to deliver this service across a whole county. Occupational Therapists are experts in assessing function – we address the barriers created by environmental issues and identify appropriate solutions. We facilitate independent living, save care costs and promote quality of life, dignity and independence, Lynne and I, as directors also carry a clinical caseload and are very hands-on in the delivery and management of our services – we really care about what we do and pride ourselves on delivering a timely, professional service that is value for money.
Our services are delivered in a hybrid way (options of telephone, video and face to face) and we screen each referral to ascertain how it should be managed. We deliver face to face provision when required, which when dealing with clients with multiple health issues is the majority of the time! The personal touch, delivered in a safe manner, is our aim.
