Waiting list management
Are you a statutory organisation struggling to recruit qualified Occupational Therapists? Did you know that partnership working with private organisations, even over a short time, could be a solution?
Rehab Jigsaw Ltd is a private occupational therapy company with reach across the UK. We can offer support to statutory service including NHS and local authorities, to assist in the delivery of essential occupational therapy services. We have a team of specialist and experienced Occupational Therapists, and our company is owned and managed by Occupational Therapists – our directors have a combined 60 years of experience to offer and have themselves worked in a wide range of clinical settings including both health and social care. We know Occupational Therapy!
We presently work to support Home Improvement Agencies and directly with borough councils in the delivery of Disabled Facility Grants. We provide both face to face and remote assessments, where appropriate, to clients. We assess for reasonable and necessary major adaptations, using a holistic and biopsychosocial approach, considering an individual’s needs. We produce comprehensive reports with recommendations including identifying further onward support and recommendations for equipment. We offer follow up work where required to ensure those in receipt of the grant have occupational therapy input as needed throughout the process. We can support your teams in delivering these essential services where waiting lists have built up and can provide a short- or longer-term service.
We can also offer ad-hoc, short- or longer-term support to health-based therapy teams to manage waiting lists and can provide in-person or remote assistance with treatment packages. Our Occupational Therapists have a wide range of health and social care experiences and can support with both simple and complex cases which may include making onward referrals or the recommendation for equipment. We aim to help our clients to achieve their goals – whatever is important to them is important to us.
We would love to help if you are struggling with any aspects of service provision of occupational therapy – do contact us for further details and we would be happy to discuss.
